Ellen Keating

ELLEN M. KEATING, PsyD, SEP.
Somatic Healer and Trauma Therapist

keatingellen@gmail.com

Ellen Keating is a licensed psychologist in Wheaton, IL, who works with Developmental Trauma and Transforming Touch. She originally trained in emotion-focused therapy and noticed how clients would go from accessing deeper emotions directly into their traumas. Thus, she became interested in the healing of trauma. She explored Gestalt therapy, focusing, EMDR, and working with parts of the self. Ultimately, she discovered somatic healing and saw the power of touch for the healing of trauma. In particular, when she began to work with Transforming Touch, she noticed that her clients came into an even greater possibility for healing, resolving trauma, and having a full and satisfying life. This developed into her belief that through attunement, attachment, and regulation, even the “oldest” wounds can be helped and healed!

Ellen is a lead assistant for the Transforming the Experience-Based Brain trainings and does extensive consultations for touch therapists. She has conducted thousands of Transforming Touch sessions with clients and believes wholeheartedly in the power of this healing work.

Amy Lortie

Amy Lortie, TTT, SEP, LMT
amy@amylortie.com

Since my Yukon childhood, I have been working with inherited shamanic “tendencies” and states. As a young adult, I graduated from the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in Santa Fe  in 1992, with a Swedish Massage certification and Aromatherapy.  I then went on to Heartwood Institute where I studied Polarity Therapy with Bruce Burger and Hendrick’s Transformational Breathwork with Michael Drew. Returning to the Yukon, I received my Usui Reiki Master Certification, which I followed up with Karuna and Lightarian Reiki over the years.

In 2008, I graduated from the Golden Gate Feng Shui School in San Francisco with a Certification in Traditional Feng Shui. Three years ago I took TEB in North Carolina while simultaneously getting my SEP. This fall I will finish SRR and a BA in psychology, sociology, and anthropology. I am in private practice and have been working almost exclusively in developmental trauma. I am now digging in to how that intersects with racialized and intergenerational trauma as I explore my own dual heritage. I now live in Juneau, Alaska in a magical converted woodshed with my pup.

Rhonda Kelloway, LCSW, SEP
kelloway.lifecare@gmail.com

Rhonda Kelloway is a somatic psychotherapist, LCSW, and trauma specialist in private practice in the Chicago area. I own Life Care Wellness, a group practice of 20 clinicians who specialize in trauma, addiction, and wellness.  I focus primarily on developmental trauma and attachment, and how that shows up for clients (chronic pain, medical syndromes, stuck emotional patterns, relational problems, etc.). So I utilize TEB, SE, SRR, and DARe extensively, and EMDR on occasion, as well. Roughly two-thirds of my clients are on the table with transforming touch, and with intentional touch in telehealth.

I assist widely with SE and TEB trainings and really enjoy helping others learn these powerful approaches to trauma and attachment treatment.  I’m approved to provide consultations and personal sessions for both TEB and SE.  My life outside of work includes my 20 year-old son who lives in Iowa, caring for my cat Inky, and enjoying lots of activities at church. I like to walk and knit for self-care – though not necessarily at the same time.

Lynette Smith, PT, SEP, OIX

smithserenius@telus.net

Lynette Smith has a background is physical therapy. With an abiding interest in pre and perinatal work developmental disruptions came to my attention. Working in manual therapy - hands on, I was drawn to sensorimotor physio and studied Bodynamics, a method of understanding development one muscle at a time.
I have had a private clinic for twenty years. I work hands on in clients pain and chronic syndromes using movement as a resource: iyengar therapeutic yoga, myofascial release and Pilates. Stephen Porges"s polyvagal theory came at a perfect time to enrich my understanding of much of what we do.

I am an SEP and OIX and have enjoyed using the enrichment of TST, TEB, and SRR  trainings for myself for sure and with clients somatic, developmental and attachment presentations. I offer practical support to a local geriatric community as well.
My personal life has a large outdoor focus and includes family,  three daughters and two island dwelling grandchildren.
